PNW Softwash (also PNW Softwash & Lighting) is the business name of PACIFIC NW SOFTWASH LLC. We're a family-owned soft washing and holiday lighting company serving the Seattle Eastside. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version: we use your information to quote, schedule, and do your job, and to see which of our ads work. We don't sell it.

What we collect

What you give us

  • Quote requests (on our website or in a Facebook or Instagram lead form): name, email, phone, property address, the services you want, notes, photos, and who referred you.
  • Website chat: whatever you type to our chat assistant.
  • Calls, texts, and emails: what you tell us. Calls may be recorded, and an AI receptionist may answer. When that happens, you'll be told at the start of the call.

What's collected automatically when you visit our site

  • Our own cookies. pnw_ft and pnw_lt remember how you first and most recently found us (for example, an ad, a search, or another website). They last 90 days.
  • Google Analytics cookies, which tell us which pages are visited, the type of device, the approximate location, and how visitors arrived.
  • The Meta Pixel (see below).
  • Basic server logs (such as IP address, browser, and time of visit), which our web host keeps for security.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and our site uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code that tells Meta when someone visits our pages or submits our quote form. Meta receives information such as your IP address, browser details, the pages you visit, and the fact that you submitted a form. Meta may match this to your Facebook or Instagram account.

We use this to:

  • measure which ads lead to quote requests,
  • show our ads to people who have visited our site (retargeting), and
  • build custom audiences (people who have contacted us) and lookalike audiences (people Meta thinks are similar), so our ads reach local homeowners.

Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

To opt out:

Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

How we use your information

  • To quote, schedule, and complete your service, plan routes, and work around the weather. We use your address with mapping and weather services for this.
  • To send confirmations, invoices, follow-ups, and aftercare information.
  • To answer questions in chat or on the phone.
  • To measure and improve our ads and website.
  • To block spam and abuse.
  • To meet tax, licensing, and other legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the business:

  • GoHighLevel, our customer database
  • Google Workspace, for email and calendar; Google Analytics, for site analytics
  • Meta, for advertising and measurement, as described above
  • Vercel, our website host
  • Anthropic, which powers our chat assistant and processes chat messages
  • Mapping and weather services, for scheduling
  • Phone and AI receptionist providers (such as Retell), for answering and recording calls
  • Invoicing, payment, and accounting tools, for billing

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people or property, or if the business is sold.

Text messages

If you text us (for example, using the "Text Us" button on our site), we'll reply by text about your question, quote, or job. We only text you after you've texted us first, and we don't send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from us, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described above and will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it

  • Customers, jobs, and invoices: 7 years after your last job, for tax records and our service guarantees.
  • Quote requests that don't become jobs: up to 2 years.
  • Chat transcripts and call recordings: up to 1 year, unless they're part of a job record.
  • Our attribution cookies: 90 days. Meta and Google keep ad and analytics data under their own policies.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), reputable providers, and two-factor sign-in on our business accounts. No system is perfect, so please don't send Social Security numbers or card numbers through our forms or chat.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@pnwsoftwash.com. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, for the periods listed above.

Children

Our services are for property owners and managers. Our site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
